National Federation of Professional Bullriders
Federation Finals Championship
The Federation Finals is the finale of year-long
competition throughout
a dozen states featuring over 100 bullriders
battling to win the NFPB’s
top prize – – the Federation Cup. The
top twenty-five money-winners throughout the year earn the right to
compete at the Federation Finals Championship. Each NFPB Finalist will
attempt to ride two bulls each night at the Finals and pocket over
$30,000 in money and prizes.
2008 marks the 13th Annual Federation Finals and
the 10th consecutive
year St. Joseph, Missouri has hosted the Finals.
In addition to bullriding, the Finals will host the
Midwest Bullfighters
Association Championship along with Miss NFPB
Pageant.
Kids also have a chance to participate in the
Federation Finals. Each
performance features Mutton-Busting for kids 4
years old and up. Kids
must be 60-lbs or less to enter the mutton-busting.
Registration is held
each night prior to the performance at the Finals
Committee Booth in
front of Section 101. Twelve names will be drawn
each night to see who
gets to be a Mutton-Buster.
One of the most rewarding events of the Finals will
be the 10th Annual
Exceptional Rodeo for our friends at Special
Olympics and United
Cerebral Palsy. The bullriders, bullfighters,
personnel and Finals
committee will host the event Saturday, April 5 at
10:00 am in the
Civic Arena. Over 200 special children and adults
learn how to lasso
a steer, ride a rank bucking barrel, and take a
stroll around the bullriding
arena on a live horse.
Each year, the Federation Finals provides tons of
thrills and spills. Join
the fun and excitement at the Civic Arena on April
3 - 4 - 5 in 2008.
